Bertinelli and Van Halen Officially Solo

December 21, 2007 10:19am - TV star Valerie Bertinelli and guitarist Eddie Van Halen have had their divorce papers stamped, punched and filed last Thursday in Los Angeles, California court. A miraculous 25 years of celebrity hook up, which in Hollywood that's a miracle in itself!

Bertinelli my teen heart throb back in the early eighties was a TV star in a sitcom called "One Day At A Time", through several TV series and movies like "Murder of Innocence" and now is the celebrity spokesperson for Jenny Craig. She has written a bibliography called "Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time", which is expected to be available late in Febuary 2008.

Eddie Van Halen the lead and screaming guitarist for rock band Van Halen has gotten his career back after being sidelined for oral cancer. He and the band Van Halen have recently extended their reunion tour into 2008. Valerie and Van Halen's son Wolfgang has taken the roll as bass player with the return of former vocalist David Lee Roth. Eddie's brother Alex will of course be pounding out the drums.
